Hi,
I was wondering if someone could shed some light on the issue im having,
Currently on my test lab, put 2 disks with 5400RPM new. Put proxmox zfs raid 1, everything went well restoring pfSense and few linux machines, but the issue was with windows, when it boots up it laggs really badly. Then checking with pveperf say that the fsyncs/second was 38-58 which is really really bad, but i guess the question is it normal for a 5400RPM disks to have those readings? or did i configure something bad?

Thank you

Yes. But you can easily add an SSD as zfs cache, which would speed up the whole thing.

Thanks for the reply, well whats odd when i ran crystal disk i saw the read and write speeds really high, which does not make any sense?

Another question is what is the impact of having low fsync? slow boot time on the vms?
