Hi there, I thought it would be a good idea to move my truenas server from bare metal to a VM, I installed proxmox only the same pc but for some reason the NICs do not work they worked fine on truenas so I am very confused. I'm not able to Ping google.com or 192.168.0.1, my router doesn't see the server at all, I've been running through google searches and banging my head on the desk for ages, could someone please help I really need to get this up and running.

The device appears to be working and to have a connection. Maybe your router does not reply to pings? Maybe try ping 1.1.1.1. If that works then it's probably a DNS issue.
Please make sure that 192.168.0.77 is not inside the DHCP range, as some routers block traffic from devices in the DHCP range without using DHCP (which Proxmox does not use).

Hi, thanks for the tips but it's still not working, I pinged 1.1.1.1 and got the same "Destination host unreachable" I tried a fresh install and set the ip to 192.168.0.45 because my DHCP set for 192.168.0.50 to 249, the server is still very much unreachable from within the network and outside of it. no pings reach anything for the server
