Hello,
I installed FreeBSD 8.2 x64 on Fully virtualized (KVM).
I allocated to machine 12GB. If machine start it use 11,65GB RAM.
Nothing on it is not running (the same clean system). Is the KVM full virtualization creates a so-called "RAM disc"?
Add it in the same way I installed Debian and it consumed only 700mb RAM
