Forwarding domain to VM

Hello!

Recently built a Proxmox server and very new to virtualization and networking. I have a VM with Pterodactyl (game servers) installed. I want my friends to be able to join the game servers I have. How would I go about forwarding for example domain.com to my VM so everyone can join?

Get a domain name with your preferred dynamic dns hoster
Make sure you update your ip address with said dns hoster upon ISP reconnect
Forward the necessary ports in your gateway/router to your CT
