after wasting like 4 hours yesterday trying to finagle a VPN using OPNsense I gave up and called it a day. There's no way it could be this difficult right?
I have a ProtonVPN subscription and was hoping to use that. I got OPNsense up and running, gave it a WAN and a LAN bridge vmbr0 and 1 respectively, and set up a Ubuntu VM that only had access to vmbr1, OPNsense's LAN port. Then I downloaded a WireGuard config from ProtonVPN and entered the details in OPNsense's web interface, breaking internet connectivity in the process. Never got it up and running again.
If anyone has tried something similar and could point me in the right direction that'd be great, any help is appreciated
