Hi,
I somehow mixed up the order of our weekly tapes, hence the situation currently looks like this:
with ascending date:
I wanted to use Wochenband01 last Monday, but PBS forced me to use Wochenband02.
I assume it will ask me to use Wochenband01 next Monday as it's the oldest, expired tape (after reading again, I noticed the backup-job list command actually tells me).
What's the right procedure for this mix up?
I've set a retention of 4 weeks, but have 8 tapes, so I could simply not use Wochenband01 for a while.
By setting its status to retired, PBS shouldn't ask for that tape anymore.
After some time, Wochenband 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08 will be used.
If I then reset Wochenband01 via "clear status", will it be the one that will be used first?
I appreciate any information or other approaches
