Flash Accelerator and SSD journal

Hello,

is that wise to use Flash Accelerator as journal? it give impressive result with 4k block read around 200+ i'm not sure how ceph works but they using 4k block?
 
What product is the flash accelerator and what do you mean by 200+? Ceph uses 4MB objects by default and usually, while a separate WAL/DB partition brings a performance gain, the benefit might not be as big as expected and you might be better off using the disks intended for WAL/DB as OSDs for a separate pool.
