Hello

First time posting here and also first time trying to install Proxmox.

Unfortunately after installing Proxmox and booting it up, it seems to stop at [sdc] Attached SCSI removable disk and won't load anymore. Also the ip i set in installation wizard doesent respond to ping.

Hello

Iso is latest. Hardware is old IBM BladeCenter H with similar age blades (very old hardware :) ) was quriouse if i could use blades for virtualisation. When i installed Proxmox on newer hardware it started working fine. So must be old hardware fault.

I'm having the same issue.

Having install PVE 6.3 on a Ryzen powered system with an NVMe for the boot drive, I decided it was time it put it on a proper server.
Its a SunServer X4-2L (Dual Xeon E5-2650 v2 and 128GB DDR3)
The installation of PVE 6.4-1 seems to have go fine, with the installation being to a ZFS (RAID1) partition.

Upon reboot, the system stops progressing through the boot process but stopped before it got to the login screen. The last message reading "ses 4:0:2:0: Attached Enclosure device"
There are no errors visible on the display

The install medium was a USB drive written with Gnome Disks on a desktop running Fedora

Much like Egret143's the hardware is pretty old and the BIOS is very old (requires a support contract with Oracle to download)

I'll try PVE 6.3-1, see if that make and difference. it is the first time I've installed PVE to a ZFS partition.

With PVE 6.3-1 there is an error message

Code:
Command: /sbin/zpool import -n 'rpool'
Message: cannot import 'rpool': no such pool availiable
Error: 1

Failed to import pool 'rpool'
Manually import the pool and exit.

The the boot process ejects you into BusyBox
