Hi Everyone i'm completely new too Proxmox

I do have a little experience using Linux and virtualisation but i'm far from an expert still a beginner

i'm interested in Proxmox because of its PCI & PCIE Pass-through i want too virtualise my tuner and setup a virtual PFSense

... skipping some parts ..

I had a physical system up and running it was a windows 10 machine
(Ryzen 5 1600 , 8gb ram , asus prime b350 plus MB)

I ran DisktoVHD on this system, formatted & installed server 2016 with Hyper-V
and then setup the machine as a VM

Long Story Short

Hyper-V is nice but doesn't offer all the functionality required to complete my goal

so I used Hyper-V Export too get a newer VHDX image for the VM

I stored this on a USB NTFS HDD and imported it into Proxmox (I mounted the USB HDD and directly imported the VHDX image Proxmox converted this too RAW itself

I created the VM attached the RAW Image all im getting is booting from HDD

its taken days of research and trying too even get this far

just hoping for some pointers please ask if you need more info it will be provided im not sure what you would want
