Firewall not working?I

I am stumped on this - as it stands, my Prxomox Datacenter firewall appears to be doing nothing at all - though I know for a fact that it was definately working after installation, in-that I was able to open and close ports - contrasting with now, in-that it does appear to be doing anything; accept/drop, etc, having no-effect whatsoever ...

Anyone have any recommendations or su ggestions as to what might have happened with this, and moreso, how I might get the FW working again?

Are there any errors in the syslog?

I rebooted Proxmox, and low and behold, the FW came back to life

That said, and interestingly, Proxmox presented a flashing cursor for aprox 5mins, before beginning the reboot process - no idea why it took so long, but it did.

There were no errors in the log to be seen btw - shrugs

I spoke too soon
There is definitely something wrong with the Firewall

After rebooting the server, and entering a firewall rule, it appears to work
Though adding more rules, does nothing whatsoever

And so I checked journalctl -u pve-firewall, and found what appears to be an endless sequence of stopping and starting the firewall service

That said, I'm beginning to think there is something terribly wrong with this latest version of Proxmox, as these issues started after updating to the latest version - and so I'm going to roll back to previous version while this gets sorted our - this is a very serious issue btw

If you could provide me with those logs, then I would be able to look more closely into the problem - otherwise it's hard to tell what is going wrong.
