File System corrupt - Can not re-install Poxmox

Unable to re-install Proxmox. Program hangs.
Rescue does not work.
My hardware diagnostics shows the drive is ok.
I need to re-partition the drive to allow the installation of Proxmox.
I have attempted to correct the UEFI via the Bios by adding a new UEFI without success,
Is there a utility that will allow me to do so, preferably by booting off a USB drive that will install a new EFI partition?

Boot off systemrescuecd and use gparted

Proxmox wipes the destination drive as part of the install. Try ' wipefs -a ' on /dev/sdX (the drive in question) before reinstalling.

If install still does not work, replace the drive
