Is there a way to backup files and folders of a VM hosted on Proxmox without taking a full backup of the VM itself. I mean a file backup job only

in addition , is there a way to backup a postgres DB, also without backing up the full VM

Thanks

Thanks. Does this also mean that I can have a backup of the PostgreSQL database? And can this be considered as a centralized solution if I have multiple VMs where I need to backup their files only?

Hi,

Does this also mean that I can have a backup of the PostgreSQL database?
Yes.

And can this be considered as a centralized solution if I have multiple VMs where I need to backup their files only?
If you want only to backup files/folders, you can use proxmox-backup-client inside your VM. Otherwise, backup the VM itself.
