I have a two server setup PBS where server A is located within a proxmox cluster and recieves the backups for the proxmox VMs.
Server B is geographically separated and has a sync job to the datastore on server A. (the backups on A are transferred to B).
This setup works fine, as long as there are no verification errors on server A. As soon as there is a broken backup on server A the other backups are also no longer synced.
(I am still trying to figure out why the backups on A fail sometimes. It's probably a software problem, because on some days, ALL backups on A. But that's a different problem.)
This might look like this:
The Backup from the 21. and 22. are both fine. But they are not synced to B, because the backup from the 20. fails.
The only "solution" I could find, is to manually delete the failed backups. Then the others are synced fine.
Any ideas how to solve this?
Obviously it's fine if the broken backup from the 20. is not synced, but I would like to have everything else synced.
