Failed to boot the VM after Importing VM from new import wizard

Hello,
just checking the proxmox to utilize in my lab, I am new here.

Installed and configured VE 8.2.4, trying to migrate the VM's form ESXI 6.7 to Proxmox using Import Wizard.
able to import but the VM is not booting up. may be the configuration were overseen. Please guide me where I am failing, checking the below information.

I don't see SCSI controller type as SATA, added image below.

Don't know your HW/CPU/socket layout but try changing cores to 2.

See here how Proxmox CPU/socket/core settings work. These maybe/probably different for ESXI.
 
I don't think the problem with the CPU, it's trying to boot initially and failing after some time, probably it could be related Hard Disk or it's supported driver configurations.
but I am not pretty clear.
 
@floh8 didnt mean the controller type. He ment the Bus your virtuall drive is connected too

Did you changed cpu sockets to 1 aswell?

Below is my existing Disk details, I don't see an option to edit them,
do I need to add an additional Disk with the SATA and have to do something with it ?

could you please give more details on it if that is the case?

You might detach the exising disk and Re-attach it again. If you do so, there is the option to slect the bus-type you want to use.
