Failed to adjust time during NTP sync: Insufficient permissions

I have setup a container running Pi-hole and everything is working fine except the above error. I can uncheck "Should FTL try to synchronize the system time with an upstream NTP server?" I understand another solution is to make it a privileged container, but many people are not recommending that.

What is the current best recommendation to resolve this error?

I would disable it. Containers get their time from the host anyway. There's no point in running another NTP client in the container.
