Hi everyone,

I'm considering building my own home server as a replacement for some dated Synology NAS and have two boards using different platforms in favour currently:

  • AMD B650E: ASRock Rack B650D4U
  • Intel W680: ASUS Pro WS W680M-Ace SE
Does anyone have experiences with those platforms, maybe even the concrete boards?

I've read about good Linux-support with current Ubuntus für the Intel-based ones. I don't need anything too special, just want LAN and USB to work, that all of the SATA and M.2 interfaces are recognized, basic things like these.

Thanks.
