Expanding or adding to the PxMx VE filesystem

Hi,

This may have been answered elsewhere and if so, please point me there. Otherwise I'm looking to understand how to add additional HDs to an existing HW node and have them or the additional storage space appear in the control/web interface.

For instance, I loaded PMVE on a system that has 3 200Gb SATA drives and the installation only uses one. What is the prescribed method or procedure to either extend the current layout or have the new HDs recognized in the control panel.

The suggested way is to use a hardware RAID controller and make a RAID of all disks.

Proxmox uses LVM2, so experienced users can also use the LVM2 tools to add disks, see:
