I think using /etc/pve or same type storage to share between nodes would be good for some types of vz high availability.
for instance, we could use vz for dhcp and store to share one 50k /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf located at /etc/pve type storage .
heartbeat could be used to determine if a an i/p takeover and dhcp start were needed.
the only issue I see is that vz and sshfs have caused us severe trouble. if sshfs on vz could not be solved, then a small kvm could be used to do this.
has anyone attempted something like that?
