i did migration from current vmare vcenter to Proxmox cluster single VM Win10 and i've currently this configuration



and snapshots are not supported


I've tried since this morning to convert UEFI instead of SEABIOS, mapping scsi0 instead of sata0 converting q35 and storage to from raw to qcow2 but all the time i got BSOD even if restarted with Win ISO to rebuild MBR.
Any suggetion to follow from scratch to setup best performance security for VM?

Migrated VM is powering without any problem

snapshots are a function of the underlying disk technology.

I'm guessing Datastore_Iscsi is, well, iscsi. There is a way to get snapshot support for iscsi targets in PVE but it requires specific configuration and specific iscsi back ends that use zfs- see zfs-over-iscsi here: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Storage

Search the forums, there are many discussions on this subject as it is kind of a sore spot for many trying to replace esxi on their existing iscsi san type products.

Damn it! That's correct keep the same storage would be better. We can leave without snapshot but do you think proxmox backup support this type of storage?

yes. PBS does not depend on storage snapshots.
