Escaping % character in notes... How?

I'm trying to put in the notes of a VM a string that contains a %, more exactly it contains %FB. Everytime I save the note, %FB is turned into a within the string.

I have tried to put the string in `, putting it in ```, prefixing it with another % or \. Nothing works.... I've read the markdown basics help from Proxmox and the markdown guide here. Couldn't find any solution that works.

Does anyone know a solution?

mhmm.. there seems to be some kind of unbalanced percent encoding/decoding going on since it seems to decode once more on read than it encodes on update
can you maybe open a bug for that in https://bugzilla.proxmox.com

for now you can write '%2525FB' that will land in the config as '%25FB' which will be decoded as '%FB' ...
(%25 is % in percent encoding)

Thank you for the help! %2525 did not yield the desired result either (turned into %25FB), but %25FB worked. At least as long as I don't edit the notes again, then of course it will turn into once more.

See below screenshots for what I entered (left), and what it turned into (right).

I have filed a bug report: https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/show_bug.cgi?id=5226
