Hello,

I get "Error unable to find free port (5900-6000) (500)" every time I try to open the console of a VM. But I'm pretty sure that none of those ports are taken. The last move I remember having made is to move the server to another data-center and change /etc/network/interfaces accordingly.

Any idea about how to work this out? Thank you.

Please can you port the contents of /var/tmp/pve-reserved-ports:

# cat /var/tmp/pve-reserved-ports

Hello there,

Problem solved. Just caused by the lack of localhost entry in /etc/hosts . I thought the DNS server might handle it, but it turned out that I was totally wrong.

Thanks for help anyway.
