Hi,

We have a HP DL380 Server with hardware raid - running totally fine. One drive died and ever since replacing the dead drive we are getting the follow error:

proxmox1 kernel: critical medium error, dev sda, sector 1490008640 op 0x0:(READ) flags 0x0 phys_seg 2 prio class 0
proxmox1 kernel: sd 0:1:0:0: [sda] tag#408 FAILED Result: hostbyte=DID_OK driverbyte=DRIVER_OK cmd_age=0s
proxmox1 kernel: sd 0:1:0:0: [sda] tag#408 Sense Key : Medium Error [current]
proxmox1 kernel: sd 0:1:0:0: [sda] tag#408 Add. Sense: Unrecovered read error
proxmox1 kernel: sd 0:1:0:0: [sda] tag#408 CDB: Read(16) 88 00 00 00 00 00 58 cf ba 40 00 00 00 10 00 00
proxmox1 kernel: critical medium error, dev sda, sector 1490008640 op 0x0:(READ) flags 0x0 phys_seg 2 prio class 0

In ilo all drive are totally fine and working fine.

The error log comes up approx every 3 seconds

Welcome!
Too little information.
Which level of RAID? Have you rebuilt the array after replacing the drive? Is sda a particular drive or the array (from the OS point of view)?
What does S.M.A.R.T. say about the replaced drive?
