Error 43 on GPU after addition of a pcie network lan card

Hi All,

I have checked the forum and can't find anyone with an issue similar to mine.

My setup is a gt 1030 in an optiplex 9020 passthrough to a Windows VM with geforce experience used for driver installation.

Everything works well until I add a new pcie network card which is for the host itself and not passed through. On starting the Windows VM, I get an error 43 in computer management for the gpu card.

Removing the network card from the pc and reinstalling the gpu card driver will reverse the issue.

Any ideas?

It is possible that the GPU PCI-ID changes because you are adding a PCI(e) device to your system. Which would mean that you are passing through a different device. Can you please check the PCI-ID for the GPU before and after adding the network controller using lspci?
