Erratic back up speeds to pbs

Hi

So bit of a newbie with proxmox. So I have pve on a hp dl580 with 10 1tb sas disk in raid 5 with 1gb nics. I have pbs on a dell r710 with a couple SATA drives in raid 0 and one in raid five with 3 1t sata drives with gigabit nic. All that's connected to hp procurve gigabit switch. Was doing full stop backups and some run high speeds saying up to 1 to 2 gbs and this recent one is only running at 13Mbs. Not sure where to look further into what's going on.

Maybe try to check if the drives are ok and you can try to write to them at a "normal" speed and try to check the network speed with somehting like iperf.

So I did run iperf it reported speeds like 130Mbs its in the attached screen shots. An the drives do write and do not indicate being failed.

Not sure where to look further into what's going on.

Your disk array is to slow on random IO.
Backup is usually considered as a pure sequential load, but this is not the case with PBS due its deduplication feature.
