I am a subscriber using Virtual Environment 8.3.1
I have a VM that I want to expand the disk is it just as simple as using the gui and selecting the Hard disk for the vm/ disk action/ resize and add the additional space I want or are there additional steps to be taken the VM is a Ubuntu 22.04 o/s

If the vm is using LVM (I just tested this) - After resizing the vmHD up and extending the partition end with gparted, you can install webmin (runs on port 10000) and resize the LVM easily:

webmin: Hardware / Logical volume management / Logical volumes / root / Use all free VG space / Save
