Hi all,
Got a small issue I added some new hardware to my system today, when booting I get the message of efi stub loaded initrd from command line option, then a blank black screen after a while the system will reboot.

I found the below that also mentions that they moved their NIC which I have also done causing the issues,

https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/no-boot-messages-when-using-efi-stuck-at-efi-stub.123675/

/etc/kernel/cmdline
root=ZFS=rpool/ROOT/pve-1 boot=zfs intel_iommu=on iommu=pt pcie_acs_override=downstream,multifunction initcall_blacklist=sysfb_init video=simplefb:eek:ff video=vesafb:eek:ff video=efifb:eek:ff video=vesa:eek:ff disable_vga=1 vfio_iommu_type1.allow_unsafe_interrupts=1 kvm.ignore_msrs=1 modprobe.blacklist=radeon,nouveau,nvidia,nvidiafb,nvidia-gpu,snd_hda_intel,snd_hda_codec_hdmi,i915

that is what my kernal cmd line looks like, is there anything I should look at changing?

edit 1
removed the new device, put the nic back in the original spot still the same issue

edit 2
changed the port the network cable goes to and it worked again, so will try moving it again, I am still seeing efi stub loaded initrd from command line option on boot however.

edit 3
So moving the network card is the issue, I just don't know how to fix it at this point, I left the new gear out and move the network card to the new location, I removed the config from the VMS and also from proxmox as well but proxmox refuses to start with it there

reinstalling
after changing/etc/kernel/cmdline to only
root=ZFS=rpool/ROOT/pve-1 boot=zfs

I was able to get console, I could see the nic but no matter what no network setting would stick
