downgrade kernel

Hi, I recently found out there is a way to use a consumer grade nvidia gpu as a vgpu. From what I read kernel 5.13 and up dont work anymore with the unlock patches. Im currently running proxmox 7.1.8 with kernel 5.15. Is it safe/possible to downgrade the kernel to version 5.12 (i have a few VM's using vTPM would downgrading to 5.12 stop this from working ?) ?

yes you can just install the kernel you like, and change your bootloader to that. [0] (and no afaik it shouldn't hinder vTPM)
for a EFI host you can use proxmox-boot-tool, otherwise you'll need to edit your grub configuration.
