I'm trying to understand how I can migrate a vmware VM to Proxmox.
I've created a new VM in proxmox with a disk "vm-207-disk-1".
I'm tying to copy the vmware disk to the local-lvm volume, to convert and rename that file.
But I,m pretty lost. I can't access to that volume or know how I can copy, convert and rename that file with the original vmware disk file.

FYI

Regards

local-lvm is not a directory, but a block storage

if you run on 5.x you can use the 'qm importdisk' command

Works fine.

root@pve1:/tmp/PfSense# qm importdisk 208 PfSense.vmdk local-lvm --format vmdk
Using default stripesize 64.00 KiB.
Logical volume "vm-208-disk-1" created.
(100.00/100%)

Thanks
