Does Proxmox have a HCL (Hardware Compatibility List)?

Hello

I think from a business perspective this is important to have. A list (servers more so, besides hardware) that Proxmox has been tested on in some way shape or form and it works.

Obviously it is very difficult to test every single combination out there but at least a base to start off would be nice.

There is no offical PVE HCL but PVE uses a modified Ubuntu Kernel you can check the Ubuntu HCL. PVE9 currently uses Kernel version 6.14 (Ubuntu HWE) and you can opt-in for a 6.17 Kernel.

Just be aware that the Ubuntu HCL, as you already mentioned, does not show all possible hardware combinations, especially RAID controllers (only the basic models tested?)
