Do i need port 111 even If I don't use a cluster ?

Hi all,
the BSI annoys me since weeks because I have port 111 open, I zunderstand that Porxmox needs it, but for what purpose ? Must it really be open for the whole world ?

For rpcbind, used e.g. for NFS.

No, if you activate Proxmox's standard firewall port 111 is blocked for incoming connections.
