DNS issue with Proxmox

Hello,

i have two servers behind a Juniper SSG140 with latest proxmox.

When i am doing "apt-get update" and some test with "curl" it looks like that DNS is pretty "slow"

i already tried to setup /etc/resolv.conf with google dns - no big difference. Any idea? Maybe its a IPv6 issue? I only have IPv4 enabled

This might be because your resolver is looking for IPv6 replies.

This can be altered though, check this on howto set IPv4 preference in /etc/gai.conf
