Hello,

HP DL380G8 with Smart Array P420i controller.
Two disks for OS (EVO 500GB) are created in RAID1 mode in p420i controller.
Proxmox is installed on them, visible in "disks" menu as /dev/sda (1,2,3 partition)

Three more disks are added in to the server (EVO 4TB) and they are not initialized in to the raid controller.
They are not visible in to "disks" proxmox web menu.
If they are initialized in raid controller (create logical drive, without RAID) then in Proxmox see one drive ~ 10TB is available for use.

Is there anyway those three disks can be usable without going through raid controller operation (without be initialized in p420i) ?

These are some outputs
Code:
uname -a
Linux test4 5.15.64-1-pve #1 SMP PVE 5.15.64-1 (Thu, 13 Oct 2022 10:30:34 +0200) x86_64 GNU/Linux
root@test4:~# pveversion
pve-manager/7.2-11/b76d3178 (running kernel: 5.15.64-1-pve)

Code:
 smartctl -a -d cciss,0 /dev/sda
smartctl 7.2 2020-12-30 r5155 [x86_64-linux-5.15.64-1-pve] (local build)

I think that HP G8 doesn't support passthrough, event that physical raid controller support it.
I create every physical drive in single raid, so the OS can "see" it.
