Here is the workflow:
* i have a PVE and PBS integrated
* i setted up several VMs to automatically backup every night to PBS
* one VM has 500 GB of storage, and i didn't wanted to back it up anymore
* i deleted the VMs backups via the garbage icon one-by-one, started from the youngest to the oldest
* runned the prune action
* because disk usage is not freed up immadiatelly, i runned the prune action several days later too
* disk usage is still not freed up

This happened about two week ago, but the disk usage is not freed up! I have a 1 TB disk assigned for the PBS, so it is very seeable if that minimum 500 GB of disk usage is freed up or not.

How can i summarise which VM's backup uses how many space on disk? To see how the 1 TB disk capacity I allocated to PBS is distributed among the VMs.
How can i remove that VM's backups from the disk?
How can i be sure that only real VM's backups are exists and no junks are in the storage?

Hi,

Have you run the Garbage Collect on your datastore ?
Can you give the log ?

How can i summarise which VM's backup uses how many space on disk? To see how the 1 TB disk capacity I allocated to PBS is distributed among the VMs.
Not possible, but request exist to enhance this : https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/show_bug.cgi?id=5799

How can i remove that VM's backups from the disk?
Prune and after 24H run the Garbage Collect

How can i be sure that only real VM's backups are exists and no junks are in the storage?
It's the role of the Garbage Collect.

Best regards,
