Disable vmbr0

Hello,

Need to do some HA testing and am wondering if there is a way to disable my primary nodes NIC (vmbr0) temporarily (without pulling the network cable which is hard to get to) and then re-enable it or do I have to remove it completely and add it back when done with testing?

Probable an ifdown of the bridge-ports of vmbr0 (see /etc/network/interfaces) would do it. Restore the connection with ifup.
