Hi Team,

I tried to disable the access to the webinterface of Proxmox 2.0 by using SSL.
I changed the pve.conf and disabled the SSLEngine by setting a "#" in front of the commands.
After that I changed the file pve-redirection.conf and set all rewrite rules from https:// to http:// - Apache restart was done. I was able to access the webinterface without using SSL but I did not see my configured nodes. Everytime I clicked for example on "Options" I got a 401 unauthorized error from the GUI and needed to login again. Login process is successfull but I always get this 401 error.

I enabled SSL again and everything worked fine!?
Do you have any idea or advice how to disable SSL for Proxmox VE 2.0 webinterface properly?

Many thanks!
Chris

I strongly suggest that you use SSL. We will not support using PVE without SSL (that is totally insecure).
