Hello everyone i need to find why there is so big difference between the memory reported by proxmox and the guest vm. Guest vm is FreeBSD12 .Please take a look at the attached screenshot:
Do you have the qemu guest agent installed in the VM?
Otherwise, PVE will only see the memory usage from outside, the Qemu/KVM process. It does have some overhead.

I don't have qemu guest agent in the VM . I would appreciate any advice on how and which is the most appropriate way to install qemu guest agent in FreeBSD .
