Difference between installed iso on debian setup

Hi,

We are preparing a prod setup and I'd like to ask if we go with Debian9 and Ansible staging of proxmox it's can be the same setup like with the PVE ISO ?
There is some kernel optimisations only on the ISO?

No optimation. An other kernel. PVE-Kernel. The recommended way is with the PVE-ISO. The selection of installed software is optimized. And you can do easy an ZFS setup.

If we need a Desktop. We go the PVE-Way. First install PVE with PVE-Iso, after that install nice Plasma5 Desktop Works great here.
