I just installed proxmox 3.3 on a server, and right after doing so I'm unable to login as root.

Did I really type my password wrong two times during installation?

Is reinstalling the only way to get past this?

I don't recall having another proxmox install at the same IP, but I did have a Zentyal server at that same IP (which also provided a web interface).

I decided I want to configure my RAID 10 a little differently anyway, so I'm doing that now, and then I'll just reinstall.

Thanks; I will clear my cache if it happens again.

sometimes keyboard layout is wrong. try pressing alt+shift in console, then try again typing your password.
