Hi Guys,
Total noob with proxmox, I'm just curious if its normal for the proxmox VM's not to show in the device list in routers, i know the ip address' of the VM's and can access via rdp or console, I usually just reserve IP's in the router, I'd like to do this for one of the VM's its just hosting a plex server but I cannot see it as a device in the router.
I can ping it using the router tools and can see traffic via the router monitoring (MAC address does show in the traffic monitoring screen but only here).
Is there anything i should be doing differently when creating the VM or is it a known issue? I've searched the forum but cant see anything relevant.
I also currently use VirtualBox currently to run an instance of Home Assistant in a VM, the router can identify and see this and allows me to reserve the IP, so I'm not sure its a VM issue.
Thanks
Nathan
