Hi everyone,
I'm building a a new proxmox cluster on 5 nodes with distributed storage ceph FS and I have some doubts about cluster networking.
I would like to build something reliable, maximizing the hardware I have.
Every Server has got 6 nics right now.
Every nic is 1Gb ethernet, I know it's not good for ceph, but I'm planning to get a 10Gb nic ASAP.
Is it good to split:
1 nic for corosync
1 nic for ceph cluster
1 nic for management (proxmox interface)
1 nic for traffic (Network for VMs)
Do you think a VLAN for each network is needed?
Every piece of advice is appreciated.
Thank you
