What should be important here? ZFS and Passthrough have nothing to do with each other.

therfore most guides fail at that point becuase they only reference GRUB. its an EFI vs BIOS thing so your technically correct
That has nothing to do with passthrough. Most virtualized systems have to run with EFI to get everthing to work, but that is inside of the VM, not outside. ZFS lives outside and if there is UEFI or grub used does not matter after the hypervisor is booted.
sadly the gpu passthrough still doenst work- can i giv you any information or system outputs which might help the troubbleshooting?
Sometimes it just does not work or not properly.
Have you worked through that page? Everything you need is on there and should work and return results similar as shown. Often the IOMMU group isolation is a problem and if you cannot fix that, it cannot work.
If your hardware cannot handle it, it is not fixable in that hardware. It's just that simple, e.g. if the IOMMU group is not distinct or your hardware has a faulty implementation or not everything implemented.
So you get it to work? Mind sharing what you did?

Hmm, I don't see any configuration problem and I may have reached the point where I cannot assist your further.... almost:
Have you also tried to switch the PCIe slot and try another card? I also had to play around a lot to get a working configuration. Often it just worked with another card with the exact same setup. Maybe also try to upgrade your GPU firmware... there are a lot of other tutorials out there in case it does not work, but most of them are not PVE specific, but KVM. Try to see if a similar working setup with the same mobo + gpu works.
