Hello,

first of all, sorry for my stupid question ....

I was erased disks for virtual machines that are still running on my server ...

I used: rm -rf /var/lib/vz

Its on a LVM partitions

I originally only wanted to delete the dump folder....

virtual servers still running, its vm not ct.

is there any way how I can able to recover disk without losing data? It is clear to me that server running only the restart is running ....

Thanks so much for any help ....

yes, I don't have a backup ....

You are about a half of a wrong step from disaster. Dont touch anything. Google "linux recover deleted file still open" - try it on some other system, make sure the steps you pick appear to work.
Good luck

P.S. dont just rush into running commands. Read through a few of the threads, try to understand them. I like this one, https://serverfault.com/questions/168909/relinking-a-deleted-file, but I have not tried it personally.
