I made a rookie move. Was trying to cleanup some mistakes I'd done with trying to share storage by adding them to the datacenter level. So I removed items from there that seemed to not be loading right. I have two nodes and the drives showed on the other node but with an ! icon next to them.

Now I the volumes are gone from both the correct node and the one that it was shared to. I see they are still mounted but it looks like the volumes were removed from the respective /etc/pve/storage.cfg files.

How would I recreate them?

Sorry for the terrible explanation I'm battling a cold. Should have just watched anime all night instead! :)

Thanks, I did recreate one through Datacenter -> Storage. It seems fine, but back to square one. Now the partition shows on the host node, but on the other one, it shows a ? icon next to it. I thought this was the way to share the drives...

PVE isn't doing any black magic when you check that "shared" checkbox. With this, you only tell PVE that you set up a shared storage yourself so PVE understands this. If you want a shared storage you would have to set up a NFS/SMB server or whatever via CLI.

Got it, good point. I'd need to pre-configure the storage to be shareable for it to be shared. I'm to getting why this is happening since I didn't select it to be shared.
