default ide cd/dvd is pathological slow with i440fx - why not using sata/scsi as default ?

in proxmox 8.2.2 with linux vm , cd/dvd drive is still being added as ide type instead of sata or scsi.

booting ubuntu is 4 times slower with this (measuring time from bootloader selection dialogue until the first kernel messages appear)
