Hi,

I'm trying to setup Apples Darwin Calendar server on a debian openVZ, I already have it running in a Debian KVM without issue.

The problem I have is that the calendar server requires a EXT3 filesystem with extended attributes. Does the openVZ kernel support these "user_xattr" attributes? and if so how do I mount the disk with them enabled.

Alternatively I though about creating a small virtual disk say 5Gb which I would then mount up with the "user_xattr" enabled. But again how can I do this?

Cheers,

I guess the first question should be how do I create a virtual disk image of 8Gb formated EXT3?

And then the second question is does the proxmox kernel support the Extended Attributes?

Cheers,

Hello,

I'm trying to setup Atmail Calendar Server on an openVZ container and I get the same problem about extended attributes not supported.

Do you have more informations about a fix for that ?

I'm using Proxmox 1.3 on an OVH dedicated server.

Thank you
