Hello everyone! I WILL FIGURE THIS OUT... perhaps thanks to your help?
For the life of me, I cannot figure out the networking portion of my Proxmox/OPNsense solution. My network starts at my ISPs (ATT) BGW320. My Proxmox server is connected to the built-in switch. Proxmox is installed on bare metal. My server has 2 NICs.
I have an OPNsense VM and an Ubuntu VM to test. I also have a physical Windows laptop to test with. My WAN and LAN interfaces are correctly configured. I can ping my ATT gateway from OPNsense and from Ubuntu (not from my ATT network though... seems to work then not work HMM).
Unfortunately, my second physical NIC gives me an APIPA address on my physical Windows laptop.
From what I've discovered, the issue seems to lie with the way I have Proxmox configured and not the way I have OPNsense configured. Below is an image I hope explains things in enough detail. Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thank you!
