Hi,

The Linux kernel vulnerability CVE-2023-3269 aka "StackRot" was fixed in Proxmox 8 with kernel 6.2.16-4. Thanks for that. What about the OptIn kernel 6.2 for Proxmox 7? Will it also get a fix?

Hello!

Yes, the fix for the opt-in 6.2 kernel for Debian Bullseye based releases is already available on the pvetest repository since Friday, 2023-07-07 and on the pve-no-subscription repository since today.

The fix is included in package pve-kernel-6.2.16-4-bpo11-pve in version 6.2.16-4~bpo11+1
