Current storage does not support snapshots

Trying to figure out why I get the topic title when I try to perform a snapshot. The VM contains MacOS.

The VM storage is on the same disk as all my other VMs that do support snapshots. The storage type is a ZFS mirror.

pvesm status reports that the type is zfspool and it is active.

pveversion reports 9.1.4 (kernel 6.17.4-1-pve).

What other info is needed to give me a hint?

I can reproduce the issue with media=disk. I'm not familiar with OSX or this option and assume there's a good reason this is not cdrom so unfortunately I can't suggest alternatives.

Interesting. I don't know why those wouldn't be cdrom either. Don't know if I actually need the cdrom mounted after installation, so I tempted to try unmounting it.

Other VMs have a mounted cdrom, but they are all of type cdrom.

Thank you.
