CT not running after conversion.

Hi,

I have two debian CT from proxmox 3.4.
I restore then on new proxmox 4, recreate config file (/etc/pve/lxc/XXX.conf) without network to avoid error.

Any idea ?

But can't start any of them:

it is located /etc/pve/lxc/<vmid>.conf
 
I don't configure network to avoid problem:

My CT was created under Proxmox 3 and kernel 2.6, now with Proxmox 4 and kernel 3, is it possible to migrate ?

I can't reproduce the problem here.

Try to work around like this.

create a new CT.
then copy the rootfs disk from your ct 102 or 103 to your new created CT.
 
Got same problem after restore all rootfs or some config file (var, etc, usr).

I try with several templates (debian 7/8).

It could be a bad config of Proxmox host ?
I have other errors on new CT, i need to exec this command on host and CT to eliminate error like "locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale"

Does the file /etc/lsb-release exist on your containers' filesystem. We had trouble moving a CentOS 6 container from Proxmox 2.4 because of this file. The operating system detection logic in /usr/share/perl5/PVE/LXC/Setup.pm looks for /etc/lsb-release and assumes the container is Ubuntu if it finds the file. If the containers isn't Ubuntu it does no other checks and returns "unable to detect OS distribution [sic]".
