I've read a lot a forum entries, but couldn't really find my question (or answer)

In a VM one could create another virtual disk an mount this disk for example to /mnt/extra_disk
Haven't tried this one yet, but I assume this works. I make the comparison with VMWare here.

I can't find a simular option in for a LXC. Is this correct?
Does that mean my option for mounting a disk under /mnt/extra_disk are limited to SMB or NFS?
Or are there other options?

Thanks ahead.

Found it. I just didn't look right.
For a LXC the option is under resources unlike a VM where it is under hardware. And that is why I couldn't find the option under a LXC: there is no hardware option tab.
And for others who looked into this for NFS or SMB. These options are only available with a privileged LXC. So less secure.
